Get in TouchAll Species Welcome
We design and build fencing systems for all livestock species — from cattle and sheep to pigs, chickens, and ducks. Multi-species farming is one of the most powerful tools for soil health and pasture recovery, and we know how to make it work on smaller properties.
Rotational grazing paddocks, low-stress yards, and water infrastructure for beef and dairy cattle on small to medium properties.
Predator-proof fencing, small paddock divisions, and shelter belt planting to keep sheep safe and pastures productive.
Electric fencing systems and rooting-proof enclosures for free-range and pasture-raised pigs — designed for easy rotation and soil recovery.
Portable and permanent chicken yard fencing, predator exclusion, and integration into rotational grazing systems for true multi-species farming.
Low-height fencing, water access integration, and predator-proof enclosures for ducks and mixed poultry on lifestyle properties.
Running a mixed enterprise? We'll design a fencing and paddock system that works for all your species — with rotation schedules, species-appropriate fencing types, and water access built in from the start.
Talk to Us About Your PropertyOur Philosophy
We don't just build fences — we help you create a farm system where the soil regenerates, the pastures thrive, and your animals live well.
Healthy soil is the foundation of a productive farm. We design every fencing and grazing system with soil biology in mind — improving organic matter, water infiltration, and long-term fertility through managed rest and rotational grazing.
Well-designed infrastructure means less stress for your livestock. From low-stress handling yards to shade-integrated paddock systems, we build with your animals' wellbeing as a priority — because healthy, calm animals perform better.
About Us
We are a locally owned and operated contracting business based in NSW, specialising in fencing and regenerative farming for hobby farms, lifestyle blocks, and small to medium rural properties. We work directly with landowners — no big crews, no subcontracting, just personal service and quality workmanship on every job.
Before starting Pasture & Post, we spent 5 years managing regenerative farming operations at properties including Tathra Place Free Range and other local farms across the region — learning firsthand what works in the paddock, what builds soil, and what keeps animals healthy and calm.
That hands-on experience is what sets us apart. We don't just install fences — we understand the farming system behind them, and we'll help you design infrastructure that supports your land and your animals for the long term.
Hands-On Experience
Before building fences for others, we spent five years on the ground managing regenerative farming operations at some of the region's leading properties. That experience shapes everything we do.
Managed paddock rotations, fencing maintenance, and pasture recovery programs at Tathra Place — a leading free-range regenerative beef and lamb operation. Gained deep experience in high-density, short-duration grazing and its impact on soil biology.
Worked across multiple small to medium regenerative properties in the region — implementing planned grazing programs, improving water infrastructure, and restoring degraded paddocks using low-input, biology-first methods.
Five years of farm management taught us that good fencing is only as valuable as the farming system behind it. We bring that whole-farm perspective to every job — helping you design infrastructure that actually supports how you want to farm.
How We Farm
These aren't just concepts — they're practical tools we've applied on real farms across NSW. We help you implement them at the right scale for your property.
High-density, short-duration grazing with long rest periods. Mimics natural herd movement to stimulate pasture growth and build soil organic matter faster than set stocking ever could.
Deep-rooted perennial grasses and legumes that persist year-round, reduce reseeding costs, hold soil moisture, and provide consistent feed — the backbone of a low-input grazing system.
Strategic water point placement to support cell grazing rotations, reduce overgrazing around dams, and ensure every paddock has reliable access — even in dry periods.
Integrating trees and shrubs into your grazing system for shade, shelter, fodder, and deep-rooted water cycling. Builds resilience and improves animal welfare at the same time.
Every property is different. We'll assess your land, your livestock, and your goals — then recommend the combination of practices that makes the most sense for your situation.
